Hello everyone! I’m so excited to share an incredible experience with you all. This journey began when I was selected as the sole representative from Argentina to join the prestigious Google Innovators Academy. After five years of leading two Google Educator Groups (GEGs) in San Luis and CABA, and working as a trainer and innovator on numerous digital education projects for Mexico and Argentina, this felt like a true recognition of my passion and hard work.
In the Google Innovators Academy, I collaborated with 30 educators from around the world in an English-speaking environment. We developed an innovative prototype that was later approved by Google. But the journey didn’t end there! Google once again honored me with a scholarship, selecting me as the only Argentine to have my trip to Texas paid for, so I could present my prototype at the ISTELive 25 conference. This was a dream come true.
Traveling to San Antonio, Texas, was a transformative experience. I finally had the chance to meet many educators in person whom I had only known virtually—people who share my passion for technology, robotics, and maker education. The conference was a whirlwind of innovation, where I saw the latest advancements in AI, 3D printing, laser technology, drones, robotics, and programming.
I am immensely grateful for this opportunity, which not only allowed me to grow professionally but also to represent our school community on an international stage. I am committed to bringing these new perspectives and innovative strategies back to our classrooms to benefit all our students.
